K-On![]

What is K-ON! ?:

K-ON! (けいおん!) is a Japanese four-panel comic strip seinen manga written and illustrated by Kakifly. The manga was serialized in Houbunsha's seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara between the May 2007 and October 2010 issues. It was also serialized in Houbunsha's magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat. The manga relaunched from April 2011 to June 2012 with two separate storylines published in Manga Time Kirara and Manga Time Kirara Carat. The manga is licensed in North America by Yen Press.

A 13-episode anime adaptation produced by Kyoto Animation aired in Japan between April and June 2009. An additional original video animation (OVA) episode was released in January 2010. A 26-episode second season, titled K-On!! (with two exclamation marks), aired in Japan between April and September 2010, with an OVA episode released in March 2011. An animated film based on the series was released in Japan on December 3, 2011.

Bandai Entertainment had licensed the first season until their closure in 2012. Sentai Filmworks has since re-licensed the first season, in addition to acquiring the rights for the second season and film. The title of the series comes from the Japanese word for light music, keiongaku (軽音楽), which in the Japanese context is similar to pop music.

Cagayake! GIRLS:[]

Cagayake! GIRLS is the name of the opening theme for the anime adaptation of the K-ON! manga series.

The song is performed by Aki Toyosaki, Youko Hikasa, Minako Kotobuki and Satomi Satou, all of whom voices the main characters of the series, Yui Hirasawa, Mio Akiyama, Tsumugi Kotobuki and Ritsu Tainaka respectively. Although Aki Toyosaki (Yui Hirasawa) sings the entire song herself, with back-up vocals coming from the others.

The song's lyrics were written by Shouko Ohmori, while it was arranged and composed by Tom-H@ck. The song was released as a part of the anime's single album, where it was coupled with "Happy!? Sorry!!" and both songs' instrumental versions, "Cagayake! GIRLS", released on April 22, 2009. It is produced by Pony Canyon.

An enhanced version of the song was also made, which includes Ayane Taketatsu, who voices Azusa Nakano, along with Azusa's rhythm guitar instrumental piece, which is titled as "Cagayake! GIRLS (5 nin.)". Another version of the song is also shown and playable in the K-ON! Ho-kago Live!! video game, which was included in the game's album "K-ON! MUSIC HISTORY'S BOX", along with the rest of the "GAME Mix" versions.

Personal Opinion:

Don't say "lazy":[]

Don't say "lazy" is the name of the ending theme of the anime adaptation of K-On!

The song is performed by Youko Hikasa, who voices bassist Mio Akiyama. Much like it's opening theme counterpart, the other characters provide back-up vocals. It is undet the Pony Canyon label and released under the album of the same name.

It was released in April 22, 2009. It is used as the ending theme for the entire first season of the anime, before being replaced by "Listen!!" by Season 2. There is also an "enhanced" version of this song. Much like "Cagayake! GIRLS", the enhanced version includes Azusa's rhythm guitar instrumentals.

What is Hayate The Combat Butler! ?:

Hayate no Gotoku! is the name of the first opening theme for the anime adaptation of the Hayate The Combat Butler! series.

The song is performed by KOTOKO. It acts as the first opening theme for the anime's first half for the first season. It is a single that was released on May 23, 2007, produced by Geneon.

It placed the 7th spot in the Oricon charts on 2007. It acts as the opening theme for Episode 1 to Episode 26 of the first season. It later acts as the ending theme for OVA Vol. A of the fourth season in 2014.

Personal Opinion: Nothing can ever beat the classical, original theme of the anime series. Nostalgia all around! This song was one of the major reasons the anime (and manga) became so popular in the old days, and also the reason I began watching the series too (I once heard it playing on Animax one afternoon before I was about to turn off the TV and began watching it, that's how).

Shichiten Hakki Shijou Shugi!:[]

Shichiten Hakki Shijou Shugi! is the name of the second and last opening theme for the anime adaptation of the Hayate The Combat Butler! series.

The song is performed by KOTOKO, becoming the second song she has done for the series overall. It acts as the second and final opening theme for the anime, playing during the second half of the first season. It is a single that was released on October 17, 2007, produced by Geneon.

While the first opening theme placed 7th, this song placed the 8th spot in the Oricon charts on 2007. It acts as the opening theme for Episode 27 to Episode 52 of the first season. This and "Hayate no Gotoku!" are actually so far the only two songs in the entire anime series to be used the most, with a total of 26 episodes each.

Personal Opinion: The anime series kept on getting and better and guess what, so did the opening theme! First showcasing the bond between Hayate and Nagi, the rest of characters in the series (back then), and as well as displaying more action scenes, and even introducing Hayate's enemies and rival into the series fold.

Wonder Wind:[]

Wonder Wind is the name of the first opening theme for the second season anime adaptation of the Hayate The Combat Butler! series.

The song is performed by ELISA. It is a single that was released on May 20, 2009 (nearly two years after the release of the first season's first opening too), produced by Geneon.

It acts as the opening theme for Episode 1 to Episode 17.

Personal Opinion: Was kind of disappointed at first when I first began watching Season 2 of the anime, since it didn't have a bit of action scenes, unlike the first two opening themes of Season 1, but the song is a good fit for the start of the 2nd Season. It's a good piece on its own, since it does show a few vital parts of the story; the character relations.

daily-daily Dream is the name of the second opening theme for the second season anime adaptation of the Hayate The Combat Butler! series.

The song is performed by KOTOKO, being the third song she has done for the anime series. It is a single that was released on August 26, 2009, produced by Geneon.

It acts as the opening theme for Episode 18 to Episode 25.

Personal Opinion: The second season was becoming a great addition to the anime. That's to be expected of the (originally to me it was) ever popular butler comedy series. The second opening, however, took the big cake in 2nd Season, as it brought back what I was looking for in the first opening theme; the action scenes. Though added fanservice was in it, a little, it wasn't enough to disappoint me from enjoying the opening and the anime further... that's what I'll tell ya!

Haru ULALA LOVE yo koi!!!:[]

Haru ULALA LOVE yo koi!!! is the name of the opening theme for the fourth season anime adaptation of the Hayate The Combat Butler! series.

The song is performed by Itou Shizuka, becoming the second song to become a theme used in the anime that she has done for the series. It was released on May 29, 2013 (6 years after the first season's first opening was released and 4 years after the second season's first opening was released), produced by Geneon.

It is part of an album that was released on the aforementioned date, along with "Dakirai wa koi no hajimari" (which would later act as Episode 5's ending theme and OVA Vol.B's ending theme).

Personal Opinion: While Cuties itself wasn't as strong as Season 1 and 2nd Season was (it was on par with CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU for review's sake), the song is pretty awesome on its own. It actually shows off the harem part of the series, rather than just the action scene and humor for once. It's also quite good to note that, Cuties focuses on the other cast of characters rather than just Hayate, Nagi, Hinagiku and Maria for once too.

Love Live! School Idol Project[]

What is Love Live! School Idol Project?:

Love Live! School Idol Project (ラブライブ! School Idol Project) is a Japanese multimedia project co-developed by ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine, music label Lantis, and animation studio Sunrise.

The project revolves around a group of fictional schoolgirls who become idols in order to save their school from shutting down. It launched in the August 2010 issue of Dengeki G's Magazine, and went on to produce music CDs, anime music videos, two manga adaptations, and video games.

A 13-episode anime television series produced by Sunrise and directed by Takahiko Kyōgoku aired in Japan from January 6 to March 31, 2013, with a second season airing from April 6 to June 29, 2014 with 13 episodes as well.

An animated film titled Love Live! The School Idol Movie (ラブライブ！ The School Idol Movie) was released in nationwide cinemas (and eventually to select worldwide cinemas as well) in June 13, 2015 and became the 9th highest-grossing Japanese film during 2015. The film also takes place after the end of Season 2 of the anime series.. An original video animation was also released on November 27, 2013, and takes place between Season 1 and Season 2.

Both anime series and film are licensed in North America, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand by NIS America, MVM Entertainment and Madman Entertainment, respectively. An animated film titled Love Live! The School Idol Movie was distributed by Shochiku and released in June 2015. A separate project titled Love Live! Sunshine!! focuses on a new group of school idols.

Bokura wa Ima no Naka de:[]

Bokura wa Ima no Naka de (Eng. We're All In This Moment) is the name of the opening theme for the Love Live! School Idol Project anime series.

The song is performed by the members of the idol group μ's voice actresses. The song is written by Aki Hata, and it is composed and arranged by Mori Shintarou. It was released on January 23, 2013 on both CD and DVD for the anime's album release.

It is used for the anime series' first season, with the group's leader, Honoka Kousaka, in the center of the performance. The song is also used as an insert song in Episode 12 of Season 2 and serves as that episode's ending theme, prompted as an encore after µ's performance in the second Love Live event, following their performance of "KiRa-KiRa Sensation!" and their victory in the second Love Live event.

START: DASH!! is an insert song in the first season of the Love Live! School Idol Project anime series.

The song is performed by all members of μ's, as shown in the final episode of Season 1. However, originally the song was sung by Maki Nishikino, who did a solo sample of it for Honoka, Kotori and Umi's debut concert for their School Idol Club at Episode 3.

This is later performed by Honoka, Kotori and Umi during their first debut concert in their school's auditorium, although with a lack of any audience, except for Maki, Eli, Nozomi, Hanayo, Rin and a spying Nico and three of Honoka's own classmates. Ultimately, the group performs this at the end of Season 1 in their school's auditorium once again, this time now with Maki, Hanayo, Rin, Nico, Nozomi and Eli as part of the group and with a large audience cheering them on.

The song is written by Aki Hata, and is composed and arranged by Hiroshi Sasaki. Honoka Kousaka is placed in the center of the group during the performance of both the first and second concert when they performed this song. It was released on February 20, 2013 as μ's eighth album, and later as another variant on April 3, 2013. The former having only Honoka, Kotori and Umi performing the song, while the latter having all members performing the song.

Susume→Tomorrow:[]

Susume→Tomorrow (Eng: Advance→Tomorrow) is an insert song in the first season of Love Live! School Idol Project anime series.

The song is performed by Honoka Kousaka, Umi Sonoda and Kotori Minami during Season 1 - Episode 1: "Come True! Our Dreams!" both at the very beginning and end of the episode. The first being sung only by Honoka during the opening verse before an introduction is given and the second being used as the episode's ending theme, where it is then sung completely by Honoka, Umi and Kotori.

It is also used as an insert song for the first season's finale episode, "μ's Music Start!". It is briefly sung by Honoka and Umi and a separated Kotori, and plays as well when Honoka goes off to apologize and persuade Kotori to stay in Japan and continue being school idols with Umi.

The song is written by Aki Hata and is composed and arranged by Takao Kawada.

Kitto Seishun ga Kikoeru:[]

Kitto Seishun ga Kikoeru (Eng: Surely Our Youth Will Be Heard) is the name of the ending theme of Love Live! School Idol Project anime series.

The song is performed by the members of Otonokizaka Academy's school idol group, μ's. The lyrics are written by Aki Hata, composed and arranged by Kyou Takada. It is the second ending theme for the first season of the anime. Despite being a song that is performed by μ's, there have been times in the first season of the anime that a different member of the group will sing the song, either by themselves or with another member.

Examples given are that Honoka, Umi and Kotori sing the song by themselves for Episode 2, while Nico sings the song by herself during Episode 5. Others are: Maki, Hanayo and Rin sing the song during Episode 4, Eli and Nozomi during Episode 7, Honoka by herself during Episode 12, Kotori by herself during Episode 9 and most of the group except Eli and Nozozmi during Episode 6. The rest have been sung completely by all members (Episodes 3, 8, 10, 11 and 13).

It replaces "Susume→Tomorrow" as the ending theme from Episode 1. The song is produced by Lantis and was released on February 6, 2013.

Shakugan no Shana[]

What is Shakugan no Shana?:

Shakugan no Shana, also known simply as Shana (シャナ), is a Japanese light novel series written by Yashichiro Takahashi with illustrations by Noizi Ito. ASCII Media Works published 26 novels from November 2002 to November 2012 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The story focuses on Yuji Sakai, a high school boy who inadvertently becomes involved in an age-old conflict between forces of balance and imbalance in existence. In the process, he befriends a fighter for the balancing force and names her "Shana". The series incorporates fantasy and slice of life elements into its tale.

Two manga adaptations were published by ASCII Media Works in Dengeki Daioh and Dengeki Maoh. Between 2005 and 2012, the series was adapted by J.C.Staff into three 24-episode anime television series, a four-episode original video animation (OVA) series, an animated film and an additional stand alone OVA episode. Geneon originally licensed the first television series for release in North America, but the license was later transferred to Funimation, who also licensed the remaining anime properties. Critics praised the series for its execution of typical story elements and how it continuously becomes better over time. However, the series is described as having issues with pacing.

JOINT is the name of the first opening theme of the second season anime adaptation of the Shakugan no Shana series.

The song is performed by Kawada Mami, being her second song overall for the anime series to be used as a theme. The song is composed by Tomoyuki Nakazawa, who also arranged the lyrics with Takeshi Ozaki. The lyrics were written by Kawada herself.

The song is produced by Rondorobe and was released on October 31, 2007. It is used as the opening theme from Episodes 1 to 15 of the second season and used as an insert song for Episode 20. It is later replaced by "BLAZE", performed by KOTOKO from Episodes 16 to 24.

Light My Fire:[]

Light My Fire is the name of the first opening theme of the third and final season anime adaptation of the Shakugan no Shana series.

The song is performed by KOTOKO. The song is composed and written by ryo of Supercell, the lyrics were also arranged by ryo. The song is produced by Warner Home Video and its full album was released on November 16, 2011.

The song is used for the first part of the final season of the anime, spanning from Episode 1 to Episode 12, where it is replaced by "Serment" (performed by Mami Kawada) from Episode 13 to Episode 24.

Personal Opinion: One of my all time favorite Japanese songs used in one of my favorite anime series while growing up (the anime began back in 2005 and ended in 2012, so yes, it counts as a part of my childhood). Although "Serment" was a bit of a set back in terms of tone for the final moments of the anime's last season and ultimate arc, the first opening theme of the final season, THIS song RIGHT HERE, was the BEAST. It literally topped off "JOINT" from the second season easily once I first heard the song back then. And guess what? The song has become the center of inspiration for me to create, what I will surely believe to be, the most ultimate story arc for my own series... *spoilers have been censored, sorry*

Brand-new World is the name of the opening theme for the anime adaptation of The Asterisk War.

The song is performed by Shiena Nishizawa. The song acts as the opening theme for the first season of the anime, which spans from Episode 1 to Episode 12.

Pesonal Opinion: Star Wars + Light Novel + Japan + Adaptation = A series filled with action (and laser swords). The anime adaptation of The Asterisk War, despite some flaws, is a pretty decent anime itself; characters are very likeable, action scenes are good and the story is good as well. However, don't expect much, considering that A-1 Pictures is the one handling the anime series (they're pretty much, as I've said, notorious for being a bit "lazy" and dragging some elements down). The first part of the anime is pretty good since, we do start off with the introductory of the characters, the school itself, the city floating on the water and the beginning of the Festa Tournament. And trust me... the 2nd Season continuation makes it better...

The song is performed by Shiena Nishizawa, the second song she has done for the anime series overall. The song acts as the opening theme for the second season of the anime, which spans from Episode 13 to Episode 24.

Personal Opinion: Things have gotten better, especially with the song now being entitled to the series, and combined with the amazing music performance by Nishizawa-san, you can bet the story of The Asterisk War has made its way to where its best at; the Festa semi-finals and final rounds. However, the song is a bit "slower" in terms of tone compared to Brand-new World (above this one), so its a bit disappointing, however the opening is awesome, so you can't say that it is lame.

Dimension tripper!!!! is the name of the opening theme of the anime adaptation of the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise.

The song is performed by nao. The song was composed by Takeshi Arai, and lyrics being written by nao herself and arranged by MACARONI.

The song is used as the main opening theme for the anime adaptation, with two versions of the TV Edit being used durings its run. It is later put in an album, alongside its instrumental version with "Hard beat x Break beat" (and its instrumental version) under the album name "Dimension tripper!!!!".

Personal Opinion: You know what's good? Video games. You know what's better? Living in a world where video game hardware and software were like humans you can hang out with. You know what's best? If you lived in a world where there are divided countries lead by Goddesses who are actually CPUs from some of the acclaimed video game hardware and software. That's Hyperdimension Neptunia, except not all of it. It's one of the most awesome and best video game series out there (in my opinion at least), and the coming forth of an anime was a big surprise for me and it didn't end as a big failure unlike most animes adapted from video games. Video Games, Goddesses, Action, Comedy, inside jokes of the Game Industry... and Goddesses... what world would you rather be in?

The song is performed by sweet ARMS, a japanese voice actress unit signed to Nippon Columbia. The song is written by Shio Watanabe, composed and arranged by Go Sakabe and produced by Nippon Columbia, released on May 8, 2013.

The song would later be put in an album coupled with the video game Date A Live: Rinne Utopia 's opening theme, "Date in Utopia", as part of the Date A Live OP album.

The song is performed by LiSA with compositions done by Watanabe Sho. The songs album was released on August 8, 2012 and again on August 21, 2012. It is produced by Aniplex Inc.

The song is used for the first season's opening theme, being the first followed by "INNOCENCE". It is used for Episode 2 to Episode 14 as its opening theme, but also used for Episode 1 as its ending theme and then again on Episode 25 during the first season's finale.

IGNITE is the name of the first opening theme for the second season of Sword Art Online.

The song is performed by Eir Aoi, who performed the first season's second opening, "INNOCENCE", with lyrics by Tomoyuki Ogawa and Eir Aoi herself. The song is composed by Tomoyuki and arranged by Saku. The song is under the SONY MUSIC JAPAN label and is a part of the anime's first album as its opening.

The song is used for Episodes 2 to 14, but was used as Episode 1's ending theme. It is primarily used during the "Phantom Bullet / Gun Gale Online" arc. It is later replaced by "courage" by Episode 15 onward as the second season's opening theme for both the "Calibur" and "Mother's Rosario" arcs.

Sparkling Daydream is the name of the opening theme for the anime adaptation of Love, Chuunibyou and Other Delusions!.

Chuunibyou encourages people to just be themselves and the song also fits the type of series this is.

The song is performed by Black Raison d'etre; comprised of Maaya Uchida, Chinatsu Akasaki, Sumire Uesaka and Azumi Asukara, who voices Rikka Takanashi, Shinka Nibutani, Sanae Dekomori and Kumin Tsuyurin respectively.

Written, arranged and composed by ZAQ (who performed the opening theme for the anime) and was released November 21, 2012, the song itself is the first in the series in which the characters sing a theme for the anime, it was also coupled with "OUTSIDER" as part of the "INSIDE IDENTITY" album. The song was also included in the "Sparkling Daydream" album; the album for the anime's opening theme.

Personal Opinion: Nothing beats a song that's about just being yourself, regardless of the inevitable judgement the people around the world may give you; it's all about being who you are deep down. This one makes that statement clear, and with an epic beat and awesome lyrics to match too. Chuunibyou's always been about just being yourself, whether you have 8th grade syndrome or not. What is Pokémon (anime)?:

The Pokémon anime is a collective term referring to the main anime adaptation with, currently, 1,094 main series episodes, 22 movies, and a number of side stories all focusing on Pokémon. The main series Pokémon anime focuses on Satoshi (known as Ash Ketchum in the English dub), a Pokémon Trainer from Masara Town (Pallet Town) in the Kanto region, and his journey on reaching his ultimate goal of becoming the greatest Pokémon Master, while being accompanied by his many friends, especially his Pokémon.

Though the anime is ultimately based upon the games and draws heavily from them, many concepts which are only touched on the games are spun in unique ways and expanded on. It is the first opening theme of the anime series and is the most iconic opening and song of the entire Pokémon anime series due to it being the very first opening of all, similar as to why the English dub's counterpart to this song, "Pokémon Theme", is also considered the most iconic song due to it also being the very first opening and both being the most catchy among the rest of the would-be opening themes in both the original Japanese and English dub versions.

It is used as the opening theme for the entire Season 1/Indigo League saga before being replaced by "The Rivals" for Season 2/The Orange Islands Journey saga. A remixed version of the song is also performed by Rica Matsumoto for the first Pokémon movie, "Pocket Monsters the Movie: Mewtwo's Counterattack", which is titled as "Aim To Be A Pokémon Master '98". Another remixed version performed by Whiteberry is used for the third season of the anime series during the Johto League saga.

The song is performed by Shouko Nakagawa, with lyrics done by both her and Yuno Iwasato. The song is composed by Kentaro Suzuki and arranged by Katsuhiko Kurosu.

The song is used for Episode 47 to Episode 67 of the anime series as its third ending theme, replacing "Peace Smile!". Two variants of the song have been made, with the original which can be seen at the left and the second which is an updated variant which mostly changes Serena's appearance to fit in with her current appearance in the anime. Though overall the third, it is the last ending theme for the first part of the first part of the XY series anime, where it is later replaced by "Roaring All-Stars" at the start of the XY&Z season.

The song is used for Episode 94 to the current episode of the XY series anime. It is currently the opening theme used in the second part of the XY series anime, Pokemon XY&Z. While it is the overall fourth opening theme in the XY series, it is the first opening theme in the XY&Z season of the XY series.

Currently it has over five different variants (surpassing "Mad-Paced Getter"), with the fifth being currently used in the anime series. The first variant can be seen on the left, the second variant shows Serena's newly evolved Sylveon, the third variant shows Ash's newly evolved Noivern, the fourth variant replaces Zygarde's Complete Form over the Pokemon World and Wulfric's scene with Zygarde Complete Form battling Z2 in its 50% form as Bonnie watches it can be seen on the right and the fifth variant takes clips from the upcoming 19th movie of the Pokemon anime series.

The song is used for the Pokémon anime series' 19th movie, Pokémon The Movie: Volcanion and The Mechanical Marvel. The song is used as the first opening theme of the 20th Pokémon anime season. There are three variants of the song: Variant 1 is the original used between Episode 1 to 7. Variant 2 updates Lillie's slide with her holding a Pokémon Egg, as well as changing the Z-Move dance segment where the background is changed to show the Rotom Dex displaying each type background used between Episode 8 to 12. Personal Opinion: If you were ever a shut-in or a NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training), who was only good in videos games but had common sense and was smart enough to truly understand what the world really is in oneself, then you know what kind of hardship it is to live in a world where society and the people in it are way too stupid and blatant enough to realize that the world is... good for nothing. Humanity itself, is also good for nothing. We're all living in a world where there are only actually four (4) ways in living in reality; live, work, die and repeat. Obvious as it is, did you ever wished for something more than can actually make you and the rest of the world's life more meaningful? No Game, No Life has showed me that; gamer step siblings Sora and Shiro are two of the many fictional characters that I can relate to in terms of attitude and personality, as well as their outlook on the world (despite the separate reality). The song is a good subtle way of showing that, for some, we're living in a world that we were never meant to be born in; we're in a world where we don't truly belong. Some, like me, yearn to be in a different reality that we actually fit in, one which we can actually find that excitement and meaning we've been so hopelessly looking for.

It is later put under her "Launcher" album. The song was later coupled with "Ameagari no Sora to Kimi" for its Anime edition album, but coupled with "Ashiato Compass", and the song's (Rising Hope) instrumental version, on its Limited Press edition album. Both albums, and the single, were released on May 7, 2014.

The song acts as the first opening theme for Episode 1 to Episode 12, with "grilletto" later being used for Episode 13 to Episode 24 as the second opening theme for the anime, which is performed by GARNiDELiA.

Personal Opinion: To quote the song itself "A tightly grasped message; that's rising hope!" (or for AmaLee's English cover version, "I hold the message that's our rising hope!"). It's impressive as the song shows itself to be. If you can understand the story of the series that it was used on, then you'd know what kind of tone in life it showcases; hope. What can I say? Personal Opinion: The song is a very good indication of what the story within Future Diary will tell; the story and characters, as well as the song itself as it already proves, is not to be taken lightly (no anime ever should unless it shows itself to be as). There is no hope, no good, no forgiveness and no mercy in the series; there is only winning and eliminating the other Diary holders in order to become the next God/Goddess of Time and Space. Because, I quote the song, it's a "SURVIVAL GAME" within a fantasy program created by the gods... to see who will be the successor of Deus Ex Machina.

The project is a spin-off of Love Live! School Idol Project and revolves around a group of fictional schoolgirls who become idols in order to save their school from shutting down, just like the idol group from the original series. It is subtly implied in the anime that at least a few (3 - 4) years have passed since the original series, as noted that the Love Live event will have its 5th anniversary, as the first and second Love Lives were won by A-RISE and µ's respectively on the same year in the original series.

It launched in April 2015 with music CDs and anime music videos, followed by a manga version in 2016. A 13-episode anime television series produced by Sunrise and directed by Kazuo Sakai aired from July 2 to September 24, 2016.
